ar-photography
Red Eyed Puffer HELP ?? Hey guys iv had my red eyed puffers for about a year now and iv noticed all of a sudden they have been hiding A LOT. They popped out for lunch today and iv noticed both the male and female have tiny almost white spots/bubble looking things all over them. What is this and how do I treat it I love these guys
malevolentsparkle
sounds like the ole white spot to me. you should be able to pick up white spot cure from any pet store.
phoenix44
sorry. i have been really stressed and busy all day. use plain old white spot cure. Now the best temp to keep them at is 25 drg, but increase the temp very slowly over then next few days to 28. i wouldn't push it further than that as i do not know how they will be at 30C. no need to half the dose or any thing. just use it as the bottle says - however could you post a pic of the fish and the spots please? lmsmith
I'd also consider worming them when they recover. The whitespot was probably caused by some stress, and if they've never been wormed, it's a very good idea.
