henward Posted June 25, 2010 Report Share Posted June 25, 2010 small discus are abit mroe sensitive. they can be finicky i notice and more shy. adults though, are hardy, when they get to adult size - i find them hardy, so long as they dont have diseases. my school of 18 adults 2 mediums = 20 total are pigs, and when i come to the tank, they all swarm up! i love seeing a 20 strong school feed lol i have 7 juvies too, they are in a grow out tank wtih my black arowana. i find if you want to make sure you dont stunt them, adults is the way to go, there are a few on trademe.
