henward
dats "stability" is a argued thing. some say that stable dats are not always happy. soemtimes when attacking prey or each other, they will go 'stable' my dats are stable 75% of the time. when feeding 100% of the time. when chasing another fish or defending its territory, stable too. to forcefully make the dats colour stable could probably more harmfull than its worth IMO. some dats are naturally unstable for camouflage. in fact, when hiding, they are unstable naturally..... most likely a natural adaptation. i dont believe a happy dat is always table. kkfish
I agree with you. bigger size fish may show colour well?
henward
yes, when they are bigger, they are more stable i find. maybe they are more confident and stronger perhaps?
