Phillz
Now that killies have got my interest I guess I better find out some info on them. What size tank is best suited? (my spare is a 24x12x12) What temp requirements? What filter requirements? What type of killies to get, easily accessable & cost? How many to a tank? I am sure I will be back with more Q's shortly LOL.

The scheeli is slightly rarer. the 2 foot tank as it will be about 56l must have a full lid, killies like attempting flight everynow and then you'll only need a trio (male + 2 females) to get started and from there you can bring up your own young. they breed more or less continously, and need a varied diet, preferably live food, but will take flake food without complaint. the better you feed them the more eggs and growth you get out of them. It's just that they're in the process of evolving into amphibians, that's all... ;-) No one has told them that niche has been filled. Andrew.
