BikBok
maybe an airstone and plants to help oxygenate it because it's tall. I also have a hexy and I do find that the flow isn't quite as good as my recatangular ones. ... but that just might be the brand I have. Carlos & Siran
Did you get lights with it? I would imagine, generally speaking, that you would be restricted to tall plants as it's much harder for the light to get down to the substrate in a tall tank like yours. How about making a biotope? you could do Asian or Amazon. A Asian with some pearl Goramis, harlequins and a GAE would look nice.
SamH
alougth my stepfather does not like this fishy hobby of mine I find that telling parents that disagree to get stuffed often results in being banished from the house Hex tanks are hard ones to do, good luck. Adrienne
As a parent I think that fish keeping is a great hobby - gently point out that there are worse things you could be doing and that it is keeping you occupied and off the streets. In fact, you could get a part time job to help pay for the addiction and this would help you pay for your fish and tank/s. Sam is very correct in what he says
