toddy203
Is there a size or physical indication that lets you know that electric yellows are at sexual maturity??
si_sphinx
Ive had them breed as small as 5-6cm but they can't hold that many eggs in their small mouths so not really worth it.
ryanjury
When they start breeding it is a good sign.. I have had them holding as small as 3-4cm but as already said that female only had like 4 babies in her mouth.. How big are yours currently? Are they showing any breeding type behavior? herefishiefishie
Are you sure they are 2 f & 2 m? This is what I ask people when they have sexual mature fish that aren't cracking the whip. What size tank are they in? What else is in the tank with them? How is the tank decorated? What do you feed & what are the water conditions? & with yellows, are the fish all the same size? If all these are fine, the only other thing is to try & add more girls to the colony, sadly, easier said than done. Frenchy
