ryanjury Posted April 18, 2010 Report Share Posted April 18, 2010 I once purchased a product like that made my seachem I think it was a rift lake buffer, I added it for a while but noticed no difference to the fish so stopped.. Pretty easy to make your own buffers or just not do anything unless your fish are unhappy, sometimes mucking around with these things causes more harm than good. Ymir Posted April 18, 2010 Author Report Share Posted April 18, 2010 I just did a pH test on my water and the damn wood has lowered it to 7.56. I need to increase it and thought a general fix all would help make it easier with no potential mistakes . I will take on making that mix tomorrow.
