phoenix44
bummer. what happened to him?
Nymox
He looked to have recovered from his constipation and swim bladder issue, then suddenly went very quickly downhill, wouldnt eat, just lay around on the bottom of the tank, all his spirit was gone. Possibly his internal organs were damaged from having a fat tummy, personally I think he just gave up. Perhaps L.A. can answer this better. Nymox
I can acually see this being a problem for me in future, there is no way I can stay detached from my fish, and sadly things die eventually even if they are in the absolute best of care. Having a huge love for all the creatures on this planet really is a double edged sword.
SamH
Sorry to hear that He was a beautiful fish. He was a pet fish yeah? Easier to be detached to less personal fish like tetras and such. It does get easier as time goes on, I guess I'm desensitized now. I used to be so gutted when my fish died when I first started, now it's no biggie.
