buzzy
i have 2 golden severums and they have a bit of tail fin which looks like something has nibbled on it, its not too bad, will they grow the bits back or will they be perminetly gone?? cheers
Midas
It should grow back no worries. Fins seem to be able to take quite a bit of damage before they won't grow back. Generally its only when the fin is missing right back to the flesh that they don't grow back (assuming appropriate TLC is given).
spooky
You might also want to ask yourself why the fin has been nipped. If one of your fish is beginning to show an attitude problem something may have to be done (separation, providing more hiding places, or the classic tank rearrangement).
