xxdarnixx Posted February 24, 2010 Report Share Posted February 24, 2010 hiya one of my blonde guppys did yesterday,it couldnt swim properly and was head down and tail straight up in the air,it couldnt right itself?? i put it in a trap out of the water flow and it got a bit better then overnight one of the bigger guppys jumped into the trap and tore her fins off i euthenaised her but wondering what was making her sick in the first place? the tank she was in has around 60 guppy in it and all the rest are healthy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bouyancy problems can have a number of causes; water quality (but others are fine so not in this case), constipation, gas from inhaling too much air while feeding, internal infection or genetics.
