Fenriswolf
Hi guys, Haven't been around here for a long time but been having a bit of a look around and thought I'd ask - do you think it's cruel keeping two smallish fantails in 120L? I have 6 leopardfish, 1 ~2" (including tail) fantail and a ~2" bristlenose in there with a Fluval 204 running on it. I did have a blackmoore but she got tail rot and medication kept it static for a long time but never fixed it and she died. So the other fantail seems a bit depressed (ha, anthropomorphism anybody?) without another goldfish-like-creature and I'd like to get another one. Opinions? Note: she had a half-arsed go at the leopardfish at first but is too slow and useless and has given it up and they're indifferent, and if/when they get to say 4" I'm happy to upgrade. Cheers
Caryl
120L would be fine. No smaller though! I would get a fish of a similar size to the lone inhabitant though or one might get bullied.
