jolliolli
Does anyone know where you can buy reasonably priced acrylic sheets? i've seen them at bunnings but they are pretty pricey. I thought anybody who has made an acrylic sump may know. I"m actually using this for poster displays not tanks so thickness doesn't matter. smidey
i think you'll only get offcuts at a cheaper price, perspex is really exspensive everywhere. some glaziers use it, they may have some bits around.
spoon
theres a place in byron street across the road from tasman traders i forget the name of it they fabricate shop fittings and use a lot of plastics i bought black corflute there cheaply i know they use acrylic for some of the things they make they may be able to wholesale you some cheaper than getting it from a glazier

Chantal
You may have got something already - but I recently got some acrylic shelves made through Dotmar which is in Riccarton. My shelves were free through a friend, but he just got old stock, so I'm sure if you went in and asked about using old stock they might do it cheaper...
