xxdarnixx
yea they are rapidly becoming my faves so far good parents too are they ok in with red jewels when they are breeding? im thinking of moving them in with the bigger fish as they have killed a guppy or two that where stupid enough to make a go for the eggs
Mr McFish
How big are the jewels? kribs seem to go nuts when protecting their fry.
xxdarnixx
the smallest is the same size as my female krib and the biggest is a bit bigger than the male. about 5 1/2 6 inch
skippy_49nz
Kribs are like a lot of cichlids are are vicious when they breed. I have found if you want to keep the babies alive they do best without any other fish in the tank. If you don't care then just leave them in with the jewels. I did that in the end. Jewels seem to be pretty tough fish and can pretty well do as they please most of the time. Zebra danios are also quick enough to pick the babies off.
