Water data as requested:

Also, the water at your Beckenham site is likely to have a variable pH due to variable water sources, aeration times etc. but typically this will be an average of 7 - 8. Phosphate <0.05ppm Reactive silica is 16ppm

At Stanmore Road the phosphate level is <0.05ppm Reactive silica is 20ppm pH is 7.8

so are these parameters good enough to put into your tank straight out of the tank? Was just wondering if many ppl in chch use tap water on their tank???
