scrabble
As I said in a previous post, we are making a background for my UFO 880 tank - but just wondering if we should cut it to make sure it fits, then epoxy it etc then reassemble and silicone it in the tank or if there is another way of doing it. The shape of the ufo makes it difficult to get it in without cutting the background and it also has two glass pieces on the top at the sides that we have to work around....maybe there is an easy solution and I am just making it more difficult than it needs to be! reef13
If you cant get it in there in one piece you could just cut it into 2 or 3 whatever you need to fit and stick it back together. you could easily cemix over the cracks and then resin to blend in those parts with it in the tank if you can see them. I didn't have to cut myn but if you get hold of si_sphinx he made a real nice one and had to cut it to get it in there i'm pretty sure and it looks good. spoon
yep mjeasure it up and cut it into three pieces then carve it with them together if you are clever you could have some kind of overlap carved out so its not noticable
