Zev
In conjunction with events nationally, the Hawke’s Bay branch of the Ulysses club has organised an ACC protest for Saturday, October 31. This will be in the Anderson Park Auckland Road car park, from 11.30am. The intention is not to ride, but to gather as a group, and a visible protest. There will be an opportunity for people to talk about what their clubs are doing, and to gather support for each activity. There will be no formal ride as a group, but a ride in event. Posted on behalf of my boss... This is the same as the auckland protest. In an effort not to alienate motorists by riding as a group along the motorway all motorcyclists will make their own way to the event. However there will be a significant police presence near the event and the traffic lights off the motorways should be aiding the smooth flow of bikes. My son tells me that the wellington group have been given permission to enter the grounds of parliament by the speaker of the house.
