SamH
Once they've spawned, take her out immediately.

SamH
That sounds about right. Leave them alone for a day and see how they get on. That's the advise I've been given in the past.
Aquila
Would it be a good idea to first introduce the male to female by sectioning her off in the tank or putting her one of those containers so he can't hurt her? I thought I read somewhere that this was effective. Leave her in there until he decides to build a nest then let her out. Goodluck!
Brett1970
she spent 2 days in a bottle and this morning her lines went vertical so she fine just the male now have to be patient and hopes he builds a nest will give them 4 days together and see what happens
twinkles
just keep an eye on her, if her bars go away and she gets stress stripes instead i'd take her out, ditto if her fins get entirely eaten.
Ashzbetta
has he built a bubble nest before? how long were they conditioned for and what on? if you have another male with a nest you could take some of his nest out and put it into your spawning tank to give him an idea on what to do
Guest
I had a pair and they didn't breed for about 6 days so I took her and reconditioned the pair. So last night I put the male in his breeding tank and I floated a different female in the tank and forgot to put the lid on and she jumped out but I only found out this morning when I was going to school except I was already late so I left her and when I came home they'd already bred
