Guest
Hi guys, I just wanted everyones tips on raisng Apistogramma Cacatuoides fry. So far I've found they're really hard to get them to eat but I've now managed to get them to eat by mixing decap BBS with water until it sinks and then suck it up with a syringe and squirt it into the main group of fry, I also do this with frozen bbs and microworms. So far they're in a 40ltr BB tank (I put them in bigger tanks once they're bigger but for now it's easier to keep a eye on them and feed them this way) with a sponge filter and a few plants. What else should I do? They're nearly a week freeswimming and I've got 70+ fry in their own tank and 15-30+ in with their parents. I've read soooo many pages on apistogramma.com (really great website) on raisng fry so know a fair bit about them now but would still like others advice.
