jude
Not sure if this should be here or in the private trade and exchange - sorry if I got it wrong. I would really like to buy some Echinodorus tenelus and some anubias barteri. If anyone is willing to sell me some that would be great. I've tried the shops, they don't know the name of their plants and I find it hard to identify them. Thanks Jude
cees
HI Jude, I don't have any plants at moment so can't help you. I used to have a small amount of Echinodorus tenellus. Don't see it in the shops at all. You may be able to find Lilaeopsis novae-zelandiae, after all it is a NZ native. It could, under the right conditions, be a subsitute. Often tenellus turns out to be an underdeveloped version of Echinodorus quadricostatus also called the 'chain sword'. Don't know about the other plant
jude
Thanks Cees, I will put that on the list of possible plants ) Why are you banging your head on computer? Hitting it with a big stick works far better ......... LOL Cheers Jude
suphew
Hi Jude, I have two type's of anumbias, but not sure if either are barteri. One has small leaf's 10-15mm the other large approx 50+mm. I also have a sword, I think called micro chain sword which grows easierly. I started growing it when I had no luck with novae-zelandiae which doesn't seem to like the heat. If you don't mind coming to pick them up you can have cuttings for free, PM me your details. jude
Thanks Suphew, I will send a pm. The one with the smaller leaves is probably anubias nana. Cheers Jude
