diver21
so, what exactly defines a fighter as a dragon? apart from the flying firebreathing kind
SamH
I think the shiny scales are the first part, but they need to be special in some other wway I can't remember. Haven't seen a dragon in the flesh but would love to get my hands on some in the future. Try search dragon on AquaBid: http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/search.cgi HTH
diver21
what i could tell is that they where metalic HMPK, and i think theres something to do with the scales being outlined, im shure theres more to it
SamH
Dragon is a colouration, not a fin type. Not at all common, if even in NZL. Maybe ask on another forums, perhaps an international one?
N1CK
I thought it was the fighter having a metallic body and coloured fins but i could be wrong......

Jfishfanatic
This might help ; http://bettysplendens.com/articles/page ... cleid=1417 Dragon: This refers to bettas that have an extraordinary amount of metallic iridescence on the bodies in combination with colored fins. The bodies often appear silver. They are gaining rapidly in popularity, and I have seen them recently in black, green, white, yellow and even bright blue. They would be considered metallic types, dark bicolors, light bicolors, or AOC, depending on the finnage type, color, and degree of metallic.
