aaron11
OMG i have a blonde female guppy ! i thought it was a girl its either a blonde or yellow its cloured all over and has bits of red streaks or something, I will get a pic when its bigger. I cant seperate it either as I have no where to put it, stupid me got 3 angels in my other tank with the platties otherise I could of put her in there with my best male but the platties usually eat the babies anyway Is it good to just let them do their thing and breed?? darkfur
Put her in there with the male, when she is well and truly gravid put her in an isolation thingie in the tank to save the bubbas from the angels.
twinkles
darkfur my angels eat adult guppies too is it good to just let them do their thing and breed? Depends what you want. If you want more golden guppies you could set up a tank to breed them, but if she's already got tail colour she's likely already pregnant too, and you'd want to have paired her with a golden male really. Otherwise leave them to it and enjoy the different colours and patterns that pop up from random breeding

twinkles
eventually, after a long time, alot that look like wild guppies - short tails, rainbow colours. In the short term though, or if you add in the occasional fancy guppy from time to time, you'll get all sorts of cool random patterns and colours
Ira
I prefer the wild type guppies to most fancy ones, actually.
