GeeTee
Came home home from work Friday to find an Electric Yellow male dead in the tank. There were also 2 females holding,so I'm guessing this fish lost out in a fight to the death over breeding rights. He was one of 2 males in with 6 females. You would think that was enough to go around wouldn't you?
smidey
could it have been that he died as a result of sickness rather than agression? Was he pretty damaged?
GeeTee
Yes,he had been knocked about. He was fine in the morning.
firenzenz
I lost a female yesterday but result was 2 others holding. She was the least dominant and perhaps not as conditioned but I think it was alpha that dealt to her. Survival of the fittest I guess. Harsh but means just the ends in nature I guess. GeeTee
That's it, nothing is stronger than nature. What can we do!
GeeTee
Yeah Mystic I suppose so. It's been fine for the past six months, I guess there was just to much action to be had and it all came to a head. It's all good.
