Whiskas
Well this was a weird one so i just thougt i would share: Last week i noticed that one of the goldies in the tank at work looked as if he had been suckered by the Bristlenose - he had a big red grazed, swollen, blistered mark over his eye. Two days later the swelling and redness had moved back towards the gills, the next day the "infection" had moved further back on the fishes body - this has continued until today when the swelling has got to the tail! The fish is none the worse for wear! I did treat him on Friday with a salt bath. Just thought it a strange things to happen and wished i had taken pics each day to show you all the progression fro front to back. It has been so strange to come in each day and see the swollen bump has moved along the fishes body. BTW when the swelling moved back where it was the day before is all normal! Whiskas
Infection has almost gone - it is now right at the base by his tail, might give him another salt bath. The children are very happy to see Nemo, or Fish 2 or wateva they call him on the day, swimming around with the other fish
