They dont tend to eat their young as much as guppies and the like, however they do seem to have less fry per drop. They also dont mind being in a smallish tank. They have smallish mouths so when i fed them mosquito larvae they couldn't eat the larger ones, maybe this is why they dont tend to eat their young. I have noticed that ever since i have had more plants in the tank they dont seem to breed as much (they bred more when there were hardly any plants in the tank)- not sure what that is about...
