JarrenB
hi guys I currently have 3 tanks all with under gravel filters, But I really hate the ugly plastic tubes and they are not good as I'm trying to fill the tanks with live plants. So what’s the BEST type of filter for me and my tanks, keeping in mind that I have paradise fish that don’t like strong currents (Excluding external filters unless you want to give me one  as I don’t have that sort of cash)
AquaVitamins
I have a Eheim is my 60L ATM. Its very quite and it has an air intake too, so you wont need an air pump. It was also very cheap! i got the 70L-100L filter. and it cost me $34. And on top of that, the replacement media is very cheap!
Muzz
what size are the tanks ?. On my 160l tanks, I use under gravel filters and grow taller plants around the uplift tubes to hide them, I use 3-5mm gravel at about 50mm thick, have no trouble growing plants. also have hang on the back filters or box filters just for that extra filtration and water movement.
