fishbreeder Posted April 28, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 28, 2009 two males gathered eggs yesterday and one got his today. and one of the ones from yesterday morning have ONLY JUST hatched. they look funny and he is darting round trying hard to keep them in the nest, but it looks like his are a bunch of falling fry. poor guy. hes doing well tho! didnt realise they could hatch in about 30 hours!? how do they get to the other side of the tank if they not meant to be free swimming yet?? a couple are sorta skimming below the surface. fishbreeder Posted May 20, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 20, 2009 first spwan starting to colour up, lots of royal blues, some steel blues, some turquioise, even what looks like purple, red and hubby thinks he saw a yellow. parents were Dad blue adn mum red and blue. awesome. trying an experiment. took one out and put it in jar in hot water cupboard and feeding to see if it grows faster.
