joliet
I noticed my male has been getting lighter in the fin area :-? He has a big split at the top of his tail fin along with some lighter 'transparencies' towards the back of his tail fin and the top of his bottom fin is almost see through. Does it look like the beginning of fin rot? If it is, should I seperate him and treat him or treat the whole tank?
Dixon1990
What other fish is he in with? It looks like hes just been nipped and is growing his fins back(the fins arent colourful as soon as they grow back)
joliet
What other fish is he in with? It looks like hes just been nipped and is growing his fins back(the fins arent colourful as soon as they grow back) 4 female fighters, a dwarf gourami, 4 platys and a small female bristlenose. Noone ever really nips, except the female fighters - they nip each other sometimes. It's like they've just appeared though, I'm used to seeing the females tails being nipped and watching them heal and this doesn't look anything like that :-? Doesn't look like fin rot, it normally starts at the edges like a torn rag.
