LYNDYLOO
Even using a Net Breeder, Mum will sometimes eat her babies  I found the plastic Breeding Tank the better one has slots in the bottom of the little tank for the babies to fall through, have less chance of them being eaten that way
Caryl
My fry were always dumb enough to swim back up through the gap on the plastic things  The nets help save the fry and allow them to grow a little away from the rest of the tank inhabitants. Put a good handful of Java moss in it for the fry to hide from mum. Warning: Angels (and probably other fish) are very good at sucking fry right through netting!
lmsmith
Mine too, Caryl! I use java moss too; either in the plastic ones or the nets. Remember not to put the mum in too early, or leave her too long. She gets stressed. I actually moved to using a floating container; it's bigger so they don't tend to get stressed out as much, and you can keep the babies in it for longer because there's more volume.
