The first fish I ever wanted to breed when I started keeping fish 2 years ago was BN. It was really hard to watch everyone posting about how they have heaps of them without trying, and now I finally have babies!!!

I'm really excited, the dad was really good with them, and I've got about 30 that I can see, but I guess there's probably another 20 or so hiding out of view. They're all out and about now, and growing really fast. Here's a pic, the plant you can see is duckweed; so you can see how tiny they are!

i can never keep them alive in my tank for more than 3 days max :lol: its terrible.

I only have a gazillion baby bronze corys and guppies in the tank, so there's nothing big enough to eat them. Although I am concerned about feeding them, they've eaten 3 courgettes a day for the last 3 days!

i bought two baby BNs one found its way into a decoratin and couldnt get out. the other i dont know what happened, it just died. not getting anymore.

YAY! :bounce: That is so cool, I am the same as you, I got an impressive looking male for my female and they have been together for the last 6 months of so and as they say "he is just not that in to her" lol

Aw don't give up on them, they're great fish!

are they okay with plants or do the uproot them? i think i will get a larger one next time. if i get any more

They're fine with plants, well, my ones are.

good luck with them, I managed to get many of batches but they grew sooooo slow for me.

they are a neet little fish and cool to see them swarm around cucumber and pellets haha :lol:

They can damage delicate leaves with their rasping but the majority are fine.
