breakaway
Try adding some melafix. My knowledge with medicines is limited, and Ive heard good things about melafix, I believe you should try some of taht. Good Luck
kim
test for ammonia and ph!!! whats your temp? turn it up to 28 put your air up as well and get some white spot cure, if its really bad treat every day for 3 days, do take out the carbon in your filters if you have it. i find if a fish is stressed having as little light on the tank will help as well. fingers crossed
Warren
If it's high ammonia, try ammo-lock. It gives almost instant ammonia relief. You'll still need to do water changes.

petplanet
Check your nitrite level as well. It changes the hemaglobin in the blood so it does not carry oxygen and the fish gasp at the surface. I would use furan over melafix any day.
