Adrienne
separate them - are you sure she's a female and not a short finned male?
Ashzbetta
take all your females out of the tank move some plants around and redecorate a bit and then add the females together into the tank this way they have to set up a new pecking order also try to have atleast 4-5 females so that aggression is spread out and check you dont have a little plakat (short finned) male
Adrienne
Are there only 2 of them in the tank and did the new one act up the moment they were put together in the tank. Whats the response of the existing one, how does it act. I have seen large numbers of short fin males being sold as females of late and a lot of young fish being sold as females when I can tell by looking at them that they are immature males.
