Insect Direct Posted January 2, 2009 Report Share Posted January 2, 2009 dig a bucket or similar into the ground put a peace of wood or something over the top but with a small gap so they can hide under and put food like cat biscuits or something similar in the bottom :lol: id be keen on some wild crix :lol: even more keen if theyre the brown crickets which are hard to come by nz? repto Posted January 3, 2009 Report Share Posted January 3, 2009 I used to drive down the rows of grapes at work on the quad bike with the swimming pool leaf net over the side just above the grass and they would blow into the net,at the end of each row I would have a big bucket with a lid and shake them into it and slam the lid on quick!When you get home just hold the bucket above the tank and they hop towards the light and jump in.
