boban_nz
It is time to update this topic and add a few pictures of my Gastromyzon. Recently I found one beautiful Borneo Sucker but I don't know what spieces it might be. I have to do more research but it is impossible to do on a live fish so I need to wait and be patient until it dies to preserve and study it. BikBok
oh I would LOVE a borneo sucker... but don't have the right set up. an HOB filter just won't cut it right? So another to add to my ever growing list of "one day" tanks.

darkfur
reckon they would get on with my leopardfishies (P.caudimaculatus)? I was thinking of how they like the slightly cooler than most tropical temps, and the strong current

Simian
Get hold of Purplecatfish if you want sewellia lineloata he is successfully breeding them in Auckland. Pete is also the president of Auckland fish keepers so pretty easy to track down. I too love these little guys, one day ...one day

darkfur
coolies. Can you chuck them in the pond in summer (if you have a pump for lots of O2?) Never really appreciated them until this thread!
N1CK
You could, bet they would love you for all the algae you get in there lol
darkfur
mmmmmmmmmm algae I just put some platys and mollies out for the summer as an experiment and they are going nuts eating daphnia. Found a website http://www.goodeiden.de/html/temperatures.html listing that some livebearers can handle a danish winter outside so I think my feeder fish are worth trying. They appear to be enjoying it for the moment anyway
