znt26
Having done some research I have figured that in my new tank I would like dwarf gouramis with a few smaller fish (danios & guppys). I have read that you should keep more females than males but in the fish shops there are no females, just males. I presume this is to stop people breeding? SO where can I get females. I have one small yellow dwarf gourami. I really like the cobalt blue gouramis and the other really colourful red & blue ones. If anyone can let me know where I can source some that would be great. I'm in Hamilton and don't really want to travel too far but will be going via Auckland on 19th so could do something then. Thanks in advance for help! Caryl
It is also because the males are more colourful and people want colourful fish
imsweet
Males should be ok together if no females are in the tank. if adding females, then they recommend to have more females to stop fighting. Hope this helps you.
