Finny
Hi I'm littering the site with the same query sorry but I just worked out there was a diseases section. and if I can find out about this I'd be pleased. (...cont'd from previous) http://i434.photobucket.com/albums/qq61 ... ollage.jpg This female goldfish has a single cyst on her front dorsal which may also be short or damaged. the cyst kind of 'popped' Just as I was transferring her from an outdoor pond. it had a threadlike part to it, now it has returned to be a white round lump. It seems likely to be fungal. There are white/ pale patches on either side of her body which I think (hope) is descaling from bullying breeding behaviour, is this typical? Otherwise she looks happy enough in her hospital tank. If the whole fish is intrinsically infected I need to worry about all the others though It's not Fungus (Saprolegnia) sounds more like a description of Ichthyosporidium can anyone tell me if this is rare common or likely?
