smidey
Who has what with tropheus in their tank if anything? I have Tropheus duboisi juvies & am thinking of how to have them setup when adults. Are these best as species only setups or will they do well with a few tank mates? Tiden
If you dont care about the breeding side of things I personally dont think it matters as they will only really go after each other mostly, they dont even care about fry really. Then saying that if they wanna breed they will no matter who's in the tank at the mo I have peacocks and Johanni with mine. I have had lelu's,marlieri, front and pulchers at other stages as well. Just my 2 cents  Oh and the peacock and johanni are both breeding and the duboisi when they want
nemines
i reckon a species tank works best with maybe some dither fish to ease them a bit and so they don't target each other quit so much. you could even put in some cuckoo syno's if you wanted. in a species tank you can focus solely on their diet as well which might be easier...
