phyrestaata
Hi does anyone know of some outfit who look after your tropical fish when you are away? I'm off overseas for thee weeks in Dec/Jan and not sure I want to leave the fish without any water changes in the time I'm away. If anyone can offer advice that would be great. (I've got someone who can feed them but they are not able to do any maintenance so I need to look at options) cheers
Adrienne
Where do you live up here and when are you going away? Not your street address for security reasons but just the area will do or pm me.
Tigger
we left our tank for a month and it was ok, we had to do regular water changes when we got back for a couple of weeks but things didn't go too haywire. I think as long as you make sure that everything is in tip top condition before you go you would be fine if you can't find anyone to help. phyrestaata
I'm not sure if it would be ok to just leave them without a couple water changes, just because they are big and messy and I usually do a couple water changes a week...plecos are quite the poop-machines lol
Tigger
we dont' have plecos in our tank so maybe they are muckier than our fish. We have a gourami, some neon tetras, a couple of dwarf chain loachs and a couple of danios.
