Mel Posted October 13, 2008 Report Share Posted October 13, 2008 Help, my shop that i buy my turtle food from has decided to discontinue his food .. so now I need to find somthing else to feed him (and qiuckly cause he's nearly run out). Has any one got any homemade recipes that I can try. But nothing to sqimish as I'm a big baby when it comes to live wriggling things. Thank you in advance. At the moment he gets JBL classic in the morning and fish mince at night (the mince is what is discontinued) I was thinking of making my own with fish, mixed vegies, turtle pellets then blending all together and freezing - any tips or other things I need to add, like extra caclium?? Insect Direct Posted October 15, 2008 Report Share Posted October 15, 2008 I to am pondering what to feed my snakenecks atm, Ive just come in from feeding them some large crickets they went down with a smile never thought to try them before lol worms or snails are other garden goodies. I use ox heart (beef heart same dif) but need to vary things up so i to would be keen to hear what else ppl are feeding them to been meaning to get some shrimp to try, othawise fish fish and fish lol guppies, goldfish, aquarium snails are all good lol hot house frozen turtle food availble at most shops is good to - or is this the stuff you are meaning thats no longer going to be sold??
