alanmin4304 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Share Posted October 9, 2008 Any of the micronutrients will make the water cloudy if you don't have the right depth of the right material to keep it down as it is based on clay and can get quite colloidal. I use JBL Aquabases but Daltons is probably similar. Put washed sand over the top and add the water into a jug sitting on a dinner plate so the media doesn't get stirred up.
