I suggest you give them a go in the tank, but keep an eye on them. If they start to disintegrate they can block the filter and cause problems with water quality, so be ready to take them out. Do you have a spare tank setup you can play with, to save messing up your main tank? Also some plants can be ok if they are acclimatised slowly and the ultimate temperature is not too high. It might be better to collect them from the stream later in the summer when they are already acclimatised to warmer temps. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
