What can axolotls live with?

At Hutt Pets I saw axolotls in a tank with some neon tetras and a couple of other smallish fish (might have been platties but I can't remember). Is this feasible?

not really. Axolotls do better in cooler water. Also, if the Axolotls get bigger they would eat small fish like Neons.

axies are pretty good hunters they sit waiting patiently for tht fish to get just a lil closer then wam bam thankyou mam tastes better than sliced ham :lol:

Ive seen them kept with danios before, They were alright together, Danios were too fast, But they needed light pretty much 24/7 as axolotls can easily eat sleepy fish :lol:

to small end up as food

to big end up nipping at there fronds?

tropical species are out as axolotls are cold water species

and nocturnal

lol u still got the frogs and axies together there spoon :lol:

if u keep axies well fed then fish seem to last longer, axies will eat each other if they get hungry so hmm, but if these are babie axies in the shop ttk then they prob to slow and small to eat the fish for now.
