Jatt16
I have a tank shelf with 3 shelfs. I have two 60 l tanks in the middle shelf an two small tanks at the top and a few tank essentials e.g. food at the bottom in secure boxes. At the top shelf i would like to replace the small tanks with bigger tanks but i think the shelf would be unstable if i put more weight on the top and theres nothing on the bottom shelf. I don't want to put the tanks on the botoom shelf as it is reachable by small children. Is this wise??
whetu
Without seeing your shelving system I can't comment on its overall strength and stability. All I can suggest is that you secure it against the wall at the top if you are worried about it tipping. You will need to find a wall stud to secure it to.
