fins Posted July 31, 2004 Report Share Posted July 31, 2004 I used to breed them, if you get them to breed I wouldnt mind getting a few back into my tanks. So let me know. heres some info They are called Apistogramma nijsseni and grow upto 5cm, females smaller. Give them acidic water (ph 5.5-6.5) and a simple cave and they should breed. When I breed them the cave was a flat stone with the flat side on the gravel, under the stone was a very small entrance just big enough for the male and female to fit in there.
