Navarre
Leopard Geckos are here in NZ legally...lol They are very rare and very expensive...maybe. They come in many different colour morphs and can be kept overseas very cheaply. I would be happy to purchase some with you if you are keen in establishing a colony here in Christchurch. But then I am not so high on teh wait list and you woudl go on after me! I have a very good book on keeping them and the colour morphs if you would like to borrow it. There are also some good websites around Navarre

snake kid
I'm only twelve so obviously i'm not gonna be spending two grand on lizards so no leopard gecko colony for me but any way remember I don't won't to but one but about how much would you pay for one of them? David R
$1500 each seems to be about the going rate, if you can find them. Efforts are being made to breed them a bit more seriously and get them established, so I'm guessing that, like beardies, the price will come down in 4-5 years as more people get them and start breeding them. Maybe by the time you've finished school and got a job they'll be a bit more affordable.
snake kid
I'm going to move to aussie or the states to become a herpatoligist when I grow up so it doesn't matter really
David R
Shouldnt you be more into biology than physics then?
snake kid
physics and science are not nearly as interesting as herpatology what I mean is that I think herpatology would be a more interesting and better paying job than physics
