60L planted tank

My son has a little planted Waterhome tank in his room. At the moment there are 8 neon tetras, a male crown tail betta, a lone female guppy and a golden algae eater in there. Could I add something else? If so, what? It needs to be something that won't chomp the tail of the betta.

I have a tank like. In my one I have (be prepared to be shocked :lol: ). a school of glowlight tetras, a school of neons, 2 black widows, 3 gold rams, 1 BN, 4 khulie loaches, 1 lone cory (I can't catch him to add to the other ones :evil: ), 5 male fighters, some females fighters, some platys and I'm sure I've missed something :roll: . I do water test and it's always fine and weekly water changes. If I was you I'd add some khulie loaches some corys and a few female fighters for your boy . Also you need to post some pics of him 8)

5 male fighters

how can you have 5 male fighters?I thought you could only have 1 per tank? Wow your tank sounds awesome. I do have a lone glowlight tetra I forgot about. He thinks he's a neon tetra though so not lonely :lol: I did have a lonely hatchet but I took him out to Hutt Pets this week and swapped him for neon tetras cos I couldn't afford to buy 5 more hatchets.

Do your gold rams not chomp the tails of your fighters? I will post a photo of the crowntail once his tail recovers more from a disagreement he had with a blue gardneri (who died last week)

They've been raised together so I can have more than one in a tank 8) . I also have a tank full of about 30 male that can be kept together but I have to sell them as I need more space. The gold rams don't nip the fighters although I did have one in there and he got nipped but I think it was the neons as he was red and I thinkthey thought he had blood worms on him :roll: :evil:.
