farmchick
Hiya My sister has sold the last of her big plant destroying cichlids (I hope they are behaving Burgo!) and can now set her 8.5ft up to be a planted community tank. Lots of Bristles, clown loaches, some jewel cichlids, a couple of Ghost knives and a synodontis, hopefully none of which will munch on plants but the question is, what sort of plants are going to be best in there? She is running an FX5 so there is a decent amount of current. Does anyone have any recommendations and the next question will be............ Do you have any for sale? Thanks all. whetu
The clown loaches love to dig so they might be your biggest problem. They're fine once the plants get their roots properly established, but can be very frustrating with newly planted plants! I have some hygro and ambulia to give away. I recommend both as quick-growing, easy care plants. Send me a PM if you're interested (I'm in Avondale).
Afrikan
You will also find that some bristles will choose to damage plants big time, sucking on the leaves and damaging them... 8)
