Melisande
Hi all, just wondered if anyone could identify this cory for my friend. He purchased a number of false Julii cories and was also given this little fellow or fellowette: The defining feature is what he described as a chocolate brown face from the gills forward. I have not seen the actual fish myself, however more pictures are available at http://kizayaen.com/checkout/cory.html. They were taken with a phone camera so please excuse the blurriness. We had a look on planetcatfish.com but couldn't seem to find a matching picture. Has anyone seen it before? Could the "brown face" be an immature "eye stripe" and if so what might it be? Many thanks! Billaney
They are Corydoras Schwartzi , origins from Brazil , grow to a max of 4.5cm , they like the water a tad warmer than most cories and are a bit harder to breed.
