new zealand discus man Posted July 20, 2008 Report Share Posted July 20, 2008 Hi What used to be here as pea gravel..Yes from waikato river and the pumus content is very porius..After last post i got a big chunk of pumus about 300x 200mm and used common hand saw and split in two..Cuts just like very soft wood..Even softer than balsa .. Them just used speed drill to basically hollow both sides and put back together with 3 screws..Big entrance to allow fish into inside cave.. In pleco tank 10 minutes later and is just floating so be interesting to see when sinks..Interesting..The insides look like trapped wood that very dark..Most likely simular to peat...Phill Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
