Guest
This is what happens with my male fighter he has a huge nest and puts the eggs down in one corner and leaves all the rest of the nest to dissaper so it's normal. The eggs will hatch if they're fertilised and congrats on breeding them how many do you think you have?
Adrienne
Cams correct. Some males are a bit lazy. As long as yours is picking up the eggs he is cleaning them and keep them free from fungus. The ones he is picking up should be fertile as they seem to know when not to bother. Congrats. I had a couple of spawns hatch yesterday - one has at least 100 the other has 2. Discusguru
You can remove him after the fry starts free swimming in a week's time.
