imsweet
I was lucky enough to have been given some killie eggs, due to be wet 1-6-08. Well i took some tank water, added it to the peat in a container and waited...... that was at 8am, still cant see anything now. :-? I had a looksee through the peat before wetting and didnt see any eggs but thought that was just my untrained eye. Should i bag it back up for another 2 weeks or cut my losses? Barrie
Imsweet It may not catch as I got a bit lazy at about the time those were spawned and didnt boil the peat... The jiffy pots contain some nasties (fertiliser etc) and unless boiled, it poisons the eggs. Interestingly enough though, with eggs from mop spawners that I place for 2 or 3 weeks on the surface, I dont have problems with. Im flat out spawning the fish at the moment so I will send you some more in the next 3 weeks Could you send me you address again please (PM)
